Our Story

Uprightly was founded through one will: create an advice bureau that provides organizations with personalities not only selected on the basis of their fame but mainly because of their expertise.

François-Xavier Canova profits from his 15 years experience as a media and event radio host-journalist to make firms benefit from his network of experts: journalists, scientists, hosts, economists, explorators…

The diversity of his projects leads him to create Uprightly Strategy, our department dedicated to create marketing, influence and communication strategies.

Extending this activity allows us to support both brands and institutions in developing their strategies but also in helping them with their positioning and their brand image management.

Our activities development keeps growing thanks to the expansion of our speakers profiles. Thus, in 2020, Uprightly extends its network to Celebrity Marketing, puting brands in touch with high visibility celebrities.

François-Xavier Canova

CEO — Human Marketing Manager

He first worked as an event agency project manager, then as a radio host on national french radios. He specializes in human marketing. He can also provide editorial support and services as chief editor. He founded Uprightly in 2016.

Raphaël Seegmuller

Associate — Marketing Manager

He initially worked as a consultant in the web and new technologies sector. He founded a communication agency in 2006 and worked on creative issues in various sectors (mass distribution, luxury, institutional). Since 2014, he has specialized in the design of marketing studies and strategies, the audit of communication agencies, as well as in project management.

Léa Chamboncel

Associate — Public Affairs & Campaigns Manager

She has developed her expertise in international relations thanks to several years that she spent working for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which she contributed to the development of France’s influence abroad. She also has expertise in public affairs which she acquired when she worked as a consultant in one of the main Parisian lobbying firms.

Stéphane Jobert

Associate — Media and Events Manager

Over 20 years of experience in the French and Belgian media as a journalist and TV and radio host. He works on the design, development of TV formats and writing content for information and entertainment programs that he presents on national channels. His expertise allows him to support communication agencies and brands in the implementation and development of corporate and general public event projects.

Martine Donboly

Oral Communication & Media Coaching Manager

With 20 years of experience in international public relations and 15 years of theatrical practice, she links oral expression techniques to the decryption of non-verbal communication.
This method allows her to develop a range of training, such as improving public speaking, media training, optimizing messages through storytelling or intercultural communication.
